Lainey, nice 'my company' shots. Glad to hear things have worked out with new boss and you are waving the company flag.

I have also learned to never leave home without the spare batteries, and an extra memory card. Once bitten..............
I've been so busy with the new house and selling the old house that I haven't had time for anything.

Thanks, Dave. Me too. It was kind of late in the game to start waving the flag for another company, though I'm a bit tired of same old same old after 31 years. Hoping to wave only a part time flag in another year or two. We'll see if we can play "Let's Make a Deal" as I might have no choice but to continue to work where I can get health insurance until I'm 65.

Don't be complaining because you're still young! But, after 33 years with the same company I do understand the smile after walking out the door for the last time.

Well, compared to you I guess I AM young! Still would like to get out of the daily grind before 65... Now back to photos. This one isn't as sharp as I'd like, but it's the vessel Linda coming through the dike, along with not one, but two lighthouses (look closely) in the background.

The bridge from below. You can see some of the "stuff" in the water for when the bridge swings open. The bridge operator told me to come back on another weekend, and he'll let me "ride the bridge" when it's open...but keep that quiet...

Cool stuff wind.

What do you mean by the compressed photo of the bridge? Because it's not sharp? I did re-size it as the pictures I've posted have been so big. How are you sharing photos so they are sharp, but no huge?

Thanks! No, I meant how the telephoto lens compresses the background into the foreground. It's an optical effect of the lens. Opposite of how a wide angle lens makes the background seem further away.

I got back into photography, via my work on guitar amps. Ppl on boards wanting to see work being done (photo worth a 1000 words...). Amazing the quality of photographic stuff out there now.
