Tire Coating/Shine Preferences

I have used many many products on my tires over the years, but I have found the Turtle Wax Synthetic Tire Shine has suited me best. Lasts a long time, and does not give you much tire fling after applying it. No one carries it locally so I buy it from Amazon, and I use a Eagle One tire sponge to apply it.
Ensure your tires are as clean as possible when applying and it's a very good product.

I prefer Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gel. Tires must first be thoroughly cleaned with a good degreaser to remove that brown crap then let dry. Apply Opti Bond with a foam applicator. and wipe off excess. For more shine apply several coats. Opti bond is water based and contains no silicone which eliminates slinging. It is absorbed into the tire and lasts a long time.

I've used Meguiar's. I would clean first using Meguiar's Tire Foam, scrub, rinse, and dry before applying any tire dressing. I currently use Meguiar's Hot Shine and Meguiar's NXT Insane Shine depending on my mood. Both give great high gloss shine. Differences is about $5.

Never knew 303 was so commonly used for tires. I use it for the dash and other trim and under the hood but never thought about tires. I don't like gloss at all, I Just want tires to have that nice dark color like when they are new.
