SD S2KI: Next Meet Poll
I'd like to start planning another meet/event, but I want some input on what that next event will be. I've created a poll above with a few choices. Please choose from the listed ones. I realize there are MORE things to do than this, but I'm trying to achieve the following things with this next event:
That said, we'll go into more detail as far as the specifics of the event after I get a general feel for the most wanted categories. Here's a description of what each choice MAY entail:
Spirited Drive: Higher paced driving through (hopefully) vacant backroads. Palomar, Otay, Borrego, Julian are examples of possible routes. Will have a food destination. Usually starts early in the morning and takes up half a day.
Scenic Cruise/Caravan: Easy going drive around beautiful San Diego. Have stops at multiple points of interest...lots of photo opportunities. Will have a food destination. Usually takes half a day.
Beach or Park Day: Haven't done one of these myself yet, but would involve spending a good portion of the day at a park or beach location. Food would be provided by attendees for grilling/bonfire, etc. Depending on location, will have park activities/sports...ultimate frisbee, football, bball, vball, etc.
My estimated time frame for this next meet would be in 1 - 2 months depending on the amount of planning involved.
Let's hear what you guys got
- Ease of organization
- Minimal cost
- Include FOOD
- Encourage more cohesion as a group/club.
- Encourage more activity vs. standing around.

I feel like spirited drive is the only right option given our cars haha

Lurker here. Never really posted in SD forums (or any forum for that matter lol), as seeing how dead it's been since I picked up my S, but very excited to see an organized meet finally happening! Voted for a scenic cruise, because I feel that as an S2k group, we should do an activity that involves driving the car! Nonetheless, will definitely try to make it out to any of said events above, and down to chill/meet other SD S2kers.
