Default I am proposing a Karting event at Daytona Milton Keynes

ok guys......was at a kart meet yesterday and I thought it might be fun to have an S2ki enduro event at a 'proper' out door circuit

Even reminded me of F1.........two of the kart's Honda engines went bang.......................

I went to Daytona earlier in the year (where I met Alan-UkTrucks as it happens) and the circuit is very challenging

So I was thinking maybe September time we could do an event

Please indicate if you might be interested. If there is enough interest I'd be more than happy to organise it

It would be a chance for the competitiveness in us to be let loose without risking our pride and joy

Cheers

I am very interested Paul - but be warned, several folks have tried to organise this type of event in the past and have failed miserably

Go for it!

A half day at Daytona is really good fun. The adrenaline flows just as it was in trying to keep up with the black Mugen this weekend!

I was pondering the possibility of a modest subsidy and arranging team racing consisting of teams from S2000, Civic R, Honda Revolutions members and a few peeps from Southern Counties and maybe Honda UK.

Note the word "modest". Let's see what the takeup is here and then gauge how wide the net needs to be spread.

Not sure on cost yet but it maybe

I reckon if Southern Counties could organise something along those lines it would be fantastic

Certainly raise the profile of Southern Counties. Neil's favourable comments regarding his PRM fitting means I am defecting to Southern Counties for my next service
