Default Waagh! Need some Touch up paint

I suppose I could ask Honda but I wonder if you guys know the best place to get (Black) touch up paint. (Found a nasty paint chip on the front bumper )

Cheers

I'd strongly recommend getting the OEM Honda paint. I have spent the last week or so touching in a deep chip on the front bumper next to the badge on my Silverstone car and can honestly say it is the best matched touch-up paint I've ever used.

The instructions in the FAQ are superb, definitely worth the time and effort to follow them

Just order it from www.handaaccessories.com

Its only like $4... I got some for my car when I got my Shinetsu Grease.

Don't try to use some black touchup from Pep Boys, it will stick out like a sore thumb.

Has anybody tried this. They sell tough up paint in a pen - supposed to be easier to apply.

I have no experience with the automotive products but they use a similar product for aircraft (polyurethane) paint products. Unfortunately the paint is not exactly the same as is normally used so there is sometimes a little difference in gloss and/or colour. I would be interested to see if it is the same for auto paint.

I am interseted to know how sharp the point of the pen is? Will it work like a toothpick as described in the FAQ? Will it get into small scratches without getting on the good paint?

Too bad we can't stop the rain!

Let us know!

Cheers
