Default PICS of Zaino vs. Gold Class on a Black S2k

I've been using Meguiar's Gold Class for months now and finally decided to take the dive into Zaino. More expensive? YES. Better? OH YEEEEESSSSSSS!!!!!!!

I didn't get to do the FULL ZAINO treatment that I had planned but I did quite a bit. Here's what I did get done: Dawn, clayed, Z-7 wash, 3 coats of Z-5 (had a ton of scratches that Meguairs didn't touch - all but GONE now!!!!), each coat followed by Z-6, one coat of Z-2/ZFX mix followed again by Z-6.

I plan on doing a few more coats of Z-2/ZFX ASAP but ran out of vacation time.

These pictures were taken earlier today and I was dodging rain drops. We have a tropical disturbance or something hanging off our coast so it's been raining almost every day forever it seems. So, the lighting is way off but hopefully you'll get the jist of the job Zaino did for me.

As a special point, check out the pics of the hood and trunk. You can actually see the colors of the cloud formations above. You can even see me in the trunk reflection holding a towl ready to wipe off sprinkles.

Point is...I LOVE THIS STUFF. I'M A BELIEVER!!!!! BUY ZAINO!!!!!!

I agree with you about how good Zanio is; but I top it off with a coat of Meguiar's Gold Classic. The Zanio by itself is to soft and picks up fingerprints easily. The Gold Classic acts as a hard topper without affecting the shine.

Thanks everyone....after reading several other threads, I'll probably add a layer of Gold Class this weekend or at least soon. I have noticed the "fingerprint" situation in the last few days.

leroy- top it off each time?
i thought that you could not sandwich zaino (zaino, wax, zaino, wax....)??
i have not yet carnubed my zaino, but am considering it if i can sandwich- i dont want to remove just to wax again.

Zaino Shmanio....I wax my S every three months with Gold Class and it works great.I read posts about guys spending entire weekends working with Zaino, having to make sure they use the exact amount of "Z" this and "Z" that and then applying it on Saturday, leaving it overnight only to go at it again on Sunday with another"Z"chemical. You guys stay home and wax on the weekends,I'll go for a run in the canyon.

Flying Wedge - you're very lucky to get a layer of Gold Class to last 3 months. I used it for over a year and NEVER had it last better than 3-4 weeks. Granted, I'm in the Florida sun and heat BUT I also keep my car garaged at home and work. So, 90% of the time its a kept puppy. Gold Class is great stuff but I'm telling you, after spending one weeked doing "Z" this and "Z" that you car will look better than you can imagine and it will stay that way for months and months and months. If you're getting 3 out of Gold I bet you get a year out of Zaino. Think how much more time you can run the canyon then?!!! Enjoy!
