Default Please help

I have a 2001 Honda S2000 a few weeks ago I went out and drove the car and then parked the car when I tried to start it again. It would not start. When I attempt to start it, there is no click from the relays. There is no crank no start the lights on the dash do not dim when I attempt to start the car but I was able to push start it and drive it home but I have not been able to find the issue with it. I’ve replaced the battery the wiring harness for the dash the start button the main relay and the starter relay I have checked the connection on the starter motor. It is fine. I have checked all of the grounds. They are all fine. I know it is not the clutch switch because I have a bypass on it. I’ve replaced the starter and I’ve tested the old starter. When I hook power up to it. It will spin, but will not engage the flywheel. I’ve tried to plug the bypass back in to the clutch switch and it did not change anything I don’t believe it is the immobilizer because I do not have a blinking green key when I try to start the car. But it will not crank and I will not even hear a click from the relays when I try to start the car. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Don't just throw money at the problem, man. That's a good way to lose a bunch of money.

Is the car throwing any codes? This reads like a failing crank position sensor. The fact that the car push-started sounds like the sensor is failing but is bad enough along that it won't start.

Edit: Follow this video to test the sensor so you don't dump more money into this.

Parts Cannon!!!

That is textbook how not to fix stuff. Taken to extreme. Man....

Ok, lets actually look at what is happening,so we can focus on one haystack, not all of them all at once.

You were very detailed about what exact symptoms were. Most don't do that, and it makes it hard to help them.

Biggest clue, it was successfully push started. That tells us everything else works, except starter didn't spin.

Second biggest clue, all the electrical power was out. Like totally dead.

That tells us reason srarter didn't spin was same reason everything else didn't work, no juice.

That clearly points to battery, or something preventing battery juice from getting where it needs to go. Like a bad cable or something.

But you replaced battery and it didn't fix it. But, did it fix some of it? Surely not everything you described was still the situation after battery replaced, right? Like, no dash lights no nothing?

Did it start a few times before original symptoms came back?

My guess is you're dealing with more than one issue, which makes it extra hard to troubleshoot.

Battery was dead for sure. But why? Just old and its time, or some sorta charging issue?

Give is more details about what happened after you changed battery?

all of the electronics have worked the entirety of the time the dash fully lights up. I can hear the fuel pump prime, but when I go to press the start button nothing happens I tested the old battery after we took it out of the car and it said it was fine, but it was old so I kept the new one. But the problems have remained the same the entire time the dash will fully light up how it is supposed to, and it will go into accessory mode perfectly fine but as soon as I press the start button, nothing happens I’ve tested the relays as well to check if they are it and they’re completely fine. It’s almost like the electrical signal is not getting from the push start button to the relays.

Is the starter solenoid in good condition and tightly connected?

Thanks!

There is a small wire with a spade terminal on it that plugs into the solenoid. If that is unplugged it will not crank. It will cause the exact issue you are describing. And that terminal gets worn over time and each time it is removed. I had to bend mine back a bit so it was tighter because it actually came off during a track event and had to be plugged back in. It is a small black wire with a right angle spade terminal on it.
