Saturday, we're planning an Opie's BBQ run for some visiting S2000 folks from the DFW area. We'll likely leave around 1 pm (stay tuned for details on departure time and place), and we'll follow up the BBQ with some fun in the twisties.

I will probably go. I haven't really driven my S2000 since the Motorsport Ranch weekend and I need to get it back out on the road!

I wouldn't miss that for anything.... except that I have no working rear brakes... so Sat morning I'll be doing a brake job. If that isn't successful, I'll either have to bum a ride, or, worst case take the Explorer and meet y'all there :-(

I've almost completed building a new intercomm system for Open Track usage... it also has FRS radio. Several hundred bucks of "Chatterbox" parts later I'll finally have the perfect system to use on these rides, as well as OT events. My cell phone will even plug into it, if I can figure out how it all works. The instructions are huuuge... I may not get to that Sat morning either....

Are NSX's welcome? I have a couple of friends that have them and would like to come? Has there ever been a s2k/NSX gtg?

 

We're "non-denominational", and welcome other sports cars as long as everyone drives responsibly. Bring 'em along!

For those who need directions to my house, it's pretty easy. From 35, take 183 North a few miles.
Exit at Duval (3 exits past the Loop 1/Mopac interchange) and turn left.
Take the second right onto Jollyville (very very short distance), Take the second right onto Secrest.
The house is 5838, the 4th on the left and has a white picket fence.
