I'm in, thank you kyrptonite for the information. Didn't take too much to convince me, I always wanted to do this trip. Should be fun and that's my Bday weekend as well!

The Core group is checking that we can all do this but a Monday departure is very likely. The plan is to spread the drive out a bit so we can hit up a few attractions along the way. There are so many great roads that we will minimize duplication from last year. If you are considering joining our Caravan, pipe up and ask questions now. This years attractions will likely include and aviation display, underground cave exploring, a natural bridge park, a German village and the Famous Dragon, (Actually, the Dragon will be a bit of a let down after you travel the roads we use to get there.) None the less, it will be a great adventure with you, your car and a group of car nuts.

Monday is April 24 2017. Darcy, just saying. It would be a nice change if you planed ahead and took off a week and came with us. Otherwise you will not see us until Friday afternoon and I for one wont likely feel like driving much on Saturday after the roll out.
I will likely lead the burned out newbies on a local attraction tour including the upper and lower dam, the marina, a piece of foothills parkway ,Deals Gap and back to Fontana.

hmmm...i've got a mustang friend of mine who's got a good chance of coming too. I just can't get away for longer than the R to S. gotta keep the home life smooth as well.
