Benita had done some searching on Private cabins. I think that she found one that would sleep 12 people near the Dragon on paved roads.

Try Watershed Cabins, I rented one in their collection at Halloween. A little pricey but very nice. Clean and comfortable.

bumping this to see what the plans are for the drive up. I have reservations at Dillard and want to see if this is going to be the stop over point.

Yes it is. I need to contact them and let them know we will be staying again. I will see if they will give us $10 off the price listed

I thought we had talked about staying in Highlands this year. I know not everyone was there when we talked about it but I remember a few people liking the idea.

Barry is working with a hotel. I've got a few recommendations on places to eat in Highlands from my co-workers who vacation there every year.

I am personally getting tired of Dillard and would like to try something new.

We talked about stopping for gas in Clayton, stretching our legs and waking up and then running up Warwoman to Highlands in the evening.

Ok. Let me know once you have it figured out. I'm open to trying something new

We are already going to be in Helen, GA for the week and wanted to meet the gang at the Warwoman Road start up in Clayton.. In years past, we were normally starting there at 9:00 AM. This gets the School Bus traffic out of the way.

We have been leaving lately between 7-8am. The earlier the better because less traffic
