Ankor Wax.
Anybody used this to preserve suspension? Seems the VW "rat look" fans use it to preserve the bodywork. Is it the same as Waxoyl fluid
or more of a wax coating which should stay on longer.

What parts of suspension in particular are you looking to preserve?
If its things like shock absorber bodies etc providing it doesn't come into contact with the seals than there should be no issue.
Anything rubber like suspension bushes keep it clear as it will distort and deform them over time.

Thinking to coat all the metal work just to preserve it, not looking to strip it all and repaint yet. Dismayed first time I took the wheels off that suspension
looked as rusty as a 70's Italian car could be.Thing is , is it more of a wax than Waxoyl or will it wash off in no time.
