Not sure why but for some reason my photobucket pics won't work.

Managed to get a little more done today, finally got the rear subframe down. Instantly regretted not stripping it down whilst it was bolted to the car. That thing weighs a ton!
need to get it all stripped and sent to the shop to get shot blasted and powder coated. Whilst I still have a fair bit of body work to get done, I'm going to replace everything including the wheel bearings and maybe get a different final drive in the diff.
With the subframe all down I could finally get to the brake lines. I had to cut the original rubber pipes off as there was no way I could get the pipe fittings off!
.
It's slow, painful and mainly uninteresting work but it's good to document things as they go I guess.

Keep it up, I want to do this in the next couple of years.

I'm not sure to be honest, I made some blanks when removed the calipers and when I dropped the subframe, I had to cut the brake lines and crimp the ends up which to stop any leaks. You will loose some but I think it should stop as the union is higher than the rest of the lines that run to the front of the car. In any case, you will have to bleed the system when you are finished

Have this week off between jobs so have a chance to get some decent progress... well so I thought...
managed to get the the exhaust manifold off and front bumper.
its a pain when every single nut and fastener is corroded!
Hopefully I'll get the front wings off, hand brake cables and gearbox out tomorrow then I'll tackle the engine when I can hire a engine crane.
i have no idea how I'll get the rear wheel mud flaps off. The bolts holding them in are destroyed with rot.

Top or bottom bolts? Top came off alright with some WD40/impact driver for me but i used a jack to push a stubby screwdriver against the bottom bolts and turned them with a vice grips.
