I tapped into the feed for the 12v socket in the centre console, i have done for the past 3 S2000's without any issues.

So today's missions completed: Heated seats, swap over the passenger side seat base to the drivers side and vise versa, fit BYS lowered seat rail, headrest speakers, brake stopper and polish the headlights:

Interior all back together :-)

Headrest speakers - love them as they make such a big difference.

Headlights had become cloudy so took them out to polish up.

Productive day

How toasty are the heated seats then? I've already swapped my seat bases when I owned the car 3 years ago (just bought it back) and my new BYS rail is on route from Japan, stupidly sold mine last time round. So I think I'll order the heated seat elements you bought.

Where did you get your speakers from, got lucky on ebay?

I disconnected mine with the recent install, and couldn't really tell the difference with the OEM head unit...

I used to have speakers in the rear of mine, but installed on the panel behind the seats, make a small but noticeable difference, biggest improvement by a country mile was the headunit. Back to standard but on the look out for something decent on gumtree\ebay.

Seats are good, well worth the effort although these are my 3rd set which I have done so it's only a couple of hours to do now.

I got the speakers from another member on here about a year ago, I had a set on my 1st car and stupidly sold them so these are staying even if I sell the car. A pair of speakers were sold on eBay recently for about £110 which was a good price as they are usually sell for around £200.

It's looking really very tidy now!

Apart from that bit of paint that fell off the N/S wing edge, when you re-fitted the bumper.

Another little job...

Bit of a fail today..........

Planned on having some body panels rewrapped as the wrap was damaged and stuck out quite badly and even worse when you are OCD like me.

So i bought some pearl white wrap which was the same as what is on the car to have both doors, both bumpers and the bonnet redone, took the original wrap off the bonnet and doors and found that the paint was in really good condition so that was a win, then came the fail, the new wrap was completely different shade to the old wrap, looks like the old wrap had weathered a bit and the new wrap was thicker so it was lighter when applied - brilliant. Ended up deciding to remove the wrap from the whole car so it is now half way back to being silver.

One of the reasons why I bought this car originally was because it is silver and it's a colour I really like even though it's stupidly common and boring.
