Well the word from the horses mouth is the only modification required is to the trim panel behind the seat - NO MODIFICATION TO THE CAR OR CAGE. So you can either leave the trim panel off or cut it around the cage pipes.
The only other comment is the roll bar is close to the glass so it is recommended to cover the cage with protective padding.

No worries. They won't be making a cage the fits without the trim mod. You can just install without the lower panel. This cant been seen when the seat is back.
