Thanks for the post!
I have been monitoring reviews of these tires very closely and they may be exactly what I am looking for. Especially since I finally just bought Ap2 wheels for the sole purpose of running them with 17" MPSS however now their "successor" is only available in 18".

Really looking forward to hearing feedback from some s2ki members.

I am thinking about it but want to see more reviews. MPSS are still my number 1 choice.

I went from RE050’s to a set of DW’s and I couldn’t wait to get rid of the DW’s. I know the Moto IQ review states that the ExtremeContact Sport addresses the DW’s soft sidewalls but I would be very hesitant unless I had more information on how much Continental reinforced the sidewalls. The DW’s were a good tire just not for the S2K. The MPSS is in that same category. The sidewalls are just too soft. A friend purchased some MPSS for his FRS and I had a chance to examine them before they were mounted. The sidewalls felt very flimsy just like the DW’s. If you compare them side by side with a RE-71R there is a world of difference in their construction. The S2000 demands a tire with stiff sidewalls. Be very careful when selecting a tire or you could ruin the feeling of the car.

I just bought these from Tire Rack, I will have them mounted next week. I read the review and it looks promising, I do not track, just street fun for me so I think they will be perfect!!!!

I know they are brand new, but so far I like them, the car came with RE-050, but they were 11 years old so I am assuming anything would've felt better. I have not pushed but they do not feel mushy, I will know more after they break in.

Would any be interested in a 215/40-17 or 235/40-17 fitment? I'm talking to them about having one or both of these sizes made.
