Less than 6,3000 Miles

This 2005 Honda S2000 with less than 6,300 miles is reported to have had two previous private owners. Finished in Sebring Silver Metallic over a Black interior, the car was purchased by the seller from an Acura dealership in 2014 with a mere 3,981 miles on it. It is powered by a 2.2-liter VTEC inline-four mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, and service during the seller’s ownership has been limited to fluid changes and a new set of tires. This AP2 S2000 is now being offered with records, a fitted car cover, a clean Carfax, and a clear Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.

On the outside

The Sebring Silver Metallic finish is original, and cosmetic upgrades include a set of clear side marker lenses. A few minor stone chips are visible along with some scuffing on the lower edge of the front fascia. Some crazing can also be seen in the plastic headlights at certain angles. The AP2 wheels have been powder-coated in a gunmetal grey, and the tires were installed less than 500 miles ago -- not because there was anything wrong with them, but because they were 12 years old and the tires had to be removed anyway for the powder-coating.

Oh!dometer and other interior finishes

Overall, the black interior remains well kept, and the seller indicates that all systems and accessories work as intended. As you can see above, less than 6,300 miles are shown on the odometer.

Under the hood

The F22C1 2.2-liter inline-four is said to be in stock configuration, and it has only required annual fluid changes over the seller’s three and a half years and 2,300 miles of ownership. At the time of purchase, the seller had an independent Honda dealership perform a multi-point inspection, which the car passed with no reported problems. Engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, and transmission fluid were also replaced at time of purchase. Service records dating back to the seller’s purchase are included in the sale.

Bid now or forever hold your peace

The included Carfax indicates no prior accidents or damage and shows that the car has received routine service at the dealership from new. The current bid for this car is $22,000. If you think this is a steal and want in on the action, hop over to BaT Auctions and drop in your offer. You are probably too late, bidding closes in a few hours, but it's never too late to auction your own S2K. But who would do that?
