Civic Inspired

Over the past several years, many artists have tried to come up with a new design for the Honda S2000, imagining what a new version of Honda's legendary roadster might look like. Some have been good, while others have been, well, hideous. Now, we have some new images to share from an artist named Siim Pärn that look pretty viable, borrowing styling from the brand new 2022 Civic in multiple areas.

Smooth Nose

From the front, this S2000's Civic influence is quite obvious, thanks to that large front grille and modern headlights with LED daytime running lamps. The overall look is pretty darn clean in our humble opinion and looks far better than most attempts others have made at redoing the roadster's nose.

Sporty and Slimming

The Civic influence doesn't end there, however, as it continues down the sides with a more sculpted overall look, along with a prominent upper body line. The lower line sweeps upward as it reaches the rear wheel arches, lending a sporty and slimming appearance.

Nice Blend

Overall, the artist does a nice job borrowing from the 2022 Civic while also retaining the S2000's original design, meshing the two together masterfully. The result is far more realistic and appealing than other renderings that attempt to reinvent the wheel, that much is for certain.

Modern Tail

The rear of these renderings features a similar treatment, with smoothed out lines and taillights with circular lighting elements inside. Even the Civic's wheels look right at home on these S2000 renderings, which are some of the best we've seen yet.
