Club Racer in Berlina Black Looks Like an Onyx Gemstone

S2000 fans already know everything there is to know about the famed Club Racer, which was produced in rather scant numbers compared to the regular model. That also translates to higher values, particularly for very nice examples like this Berlina Black CR that was recently up for grabs in the S2Ki Marketplace.

Going Fast

Unfortunately for those looking for a car like this, this one didn't last very long at all. But only a couple hundred examples were produced in this color, and this has to be one of the nicer ones left. Throw in a reasonable asking price of $35k, and you've got a recipe for a quick sale.

Couple Flaws

This particular CR has just 59,000 miles on the clock, and it certainly shows. There are the typical rock chips in the front bumper and two touched up scratches, but at least in the pictures, it looks pretty fantastic for a used car.

All There

Better yet, the car is completely stock and unmodified, which is what discerning collectors look for. It hasn't been in an accident, has a clean Carfax, and the window sticker, manual, and keys are all present, along with all 10 VIN tags.

Factory Fresh

The interior is quite clean as well, with little wear visible other than the typical driver's seat side bolster. Otherwise, it's a very nice cabin that looks about as factory fresh as it could possibly get.

Mechanically Sound

The seller notes that the car is mechanically flawless, which isn't really a surprise given its condition and low mileage. But that's always a good thing, anyway. It's also riding on a newer set of Falken tires, so it should be good to go for a while.

Going, Going, Gone
