Low-Mile AP2 Packs a Built and Turbo'd Powerplant
Take a shortcut in your planned S2000 build with this already-done AP2 up for grabs in the S2Ki Marketplace.
Well Done Build
Those that crave a modified S2000 basically have two choices - buy a stock car and mod it yourself, or purchase one that's already been modified. The problem with the latter, of course, is that you oftentimes don't know what you're getting. But if you purchased a modded S2000 from the S2Ki Marketplace, which is filled with enthusiasts like us, you've got a pretty good chance of scoring a well-done ride, like this turbocharged AP2 that's currently up for sale.

Lots of Life Left
This AP2 has just 44k miles on the clock and only 10k on the current drivetrain, so it's obviously got plenty of life left in it. And with an asking price of $30k and a mile-long list of modifications, it also seems like a pretty solid deal. It was originally treated to a supercharger back in 2009 before that setup was replaced with a turbo and a full motor build back in 2013.

Big Power
In its most current form, the AP2 makes 505 horsepower on 91 octane pump gas and 620 on 110, with the ability to go all the way up to 1,000 hp if the new owner wants to risk it for the biscuit. The main power maker here is a Garrett GTX3582R turbo, with a Tial 44mm MV-R wastegate, 44mm dumptube, Tial Q blow off valve, and a custom 3-inch downpipe with a high flow cat.

Built Bottom End
The engine itself has been fortified with Brian Crower BC6255 Pro rods, Wiseco pistons, a polished crankshaft, Supertech intake and exhaust valves, Supertech valve springs and titanium retainers, bronze racing valve guides, APR head studs, and the block has been sleeved by Benson Machine.

Exterior Upgrades
The exterior of this S2000 has received a host of upgrades as well, including a JDP rear diffuser, a Shine replica Spoon hardtop with a soft top delete,
a set of authentic Spoon front fenders, a CR front lip, a full KW V2 suspension, and a set of Enkei RPF1 wheels at all four corners.

Interior Mods
The interior is mostly original but has been treated to a set of stock Alcantara Club Racer seats, Alpine door speakers, and a knurled weighted shift knob. Altogether, the seller estimates that he has at least $30k in the car in parts and labor alone, which we don't doubt one bit.

Touching the Surface
Of course, we're only touching the surface of what's been done to this car. We'd highly recommend checking out the entire mod list by heading over here, and if you're in the market for a nicely modified and seriously fast S2000, you can find the seller's contact info there as well!
