Place to Be

If you're into cars, there's arguably no better place to be than the Petersen Automotive Museum. Not just because you can see some pretty amazing rides there, but Petersen also hosts some pretty incredible events, like the recent Honda Super Meet, which Super Street attended.

Massive Lineup

Amidst this massive lineup, there were loads of S2000s to soak in. And pretty much every other model and generation of Honda you could possibly imagine.

Careful Planning

That excellent result can at least be partially attributed to the way the event organizers handled things. Prospective cars were pre-screened, and they used extensive social media marketing to attract the best-of-the-best.

Easy Access

Thus, Petersen's beautiful parking structure was home to just about every kind of top notch Honda build you can imagine. The museum also utilized a portion of the main floor to allow easy access to the upper level entrance.

No Beater Builds

But unlike most events that take place here at the Petersen, the Honda Super Meet was more about quality than quantity. And truthfully, we like it that way. There was no endless wandering around, looking at beater builds unworthy of a prestigious show.

Singular Focus

That meant plenty of builds featuring high-dollar or extremely rare parts, which was quite nice to see. And if you're not a fan of things like stanced rides, you'll be happy to know that this curated collection focused more on traditional builds.

Price of Entry

According to Super Street, attendance wasn't terribly high at the event, but that's likely because of the somewhat high entry fee. But hey, that just made it even more enjoyable for those of us who like to soak in top notch builds.

Good Vibes

Those that did attend and participate were quite happy with the way things turned out, regardless. And the Honda Super Meet continues its cross-country trek at Charlotte's ZMAX Dragway on June 22nd.

Unique Wheels

One interesting thing to note is that there were lots of old school wheel designs present at the Super Meet, including a set of +sure MD7, which look very similar to the well-known Mugen M7.
