Looking Back

By now, it goes without saying that Super Street has brought us some pretty incredible S2000 builds over the years. Honda's legendary sports car is obviously quite popular among the tuner crowd, making the two a perfect match. So recently, the rag decided to revisit its most popular S2000 features of all time, which is a nice opportunity to look back at some of the best builds we've ever laid eyes on.

K-Series Swap

The first most popular feature, interestingly enough, is one that details Kevin Nguyen's home-built K-swap from way back in 2010. This was one of the very first K-swapped S2000s, done before various kits came out and made the job easier. It was also an incredibly popular piece, which doesn't really come as a surprise.

Body Movin'

Next up is Timmy Megenbier's build, which features only mild engine modifications yet an extensive exterior overhaul. This is quite surprising given the fact that Megenbier is also a racer who competed in the Jetta TDI Cup and Scirocco Cup prior to picking up this Honda, but the results of his work obviously speak for itself.

Boosted Beauty

David Tran's AP2 is many people's idea of the ultimate S2000, with extensive modifications present in every aspect of the build. That includes the heavily massaged body, turbo'd powerplant, and the amazing-looking coats of Laguna Seca Blue applied to its flanks.

Reinventing Itself

Jackie Law's AP1 has taken many forms over the years and has been featured in a variety of publications more than once, too. It's also been through multiple paint jobs and been powered by both an F20C and F22. And seemingly, it gets better with each and every transformation.

Homebuilt V6

Chris Dornon's J-Series swapped S2000 was completed in his own garage, which is impressive considering the fact that when the job was completed, not too many people had done it. Regardless, Dornon, a photographer on the side, managed to figure it all out and make it look very OEM-like.

Supercharged Stunner

Matt Hamilton's supercharged S2000 is unique due to the fact that he chose to go with HKS's GT blower kit, for starters. The car looks as good as it goes, too, with an attractive shade of Nardo Grey covering a body blessed with a variety of Voltex and J's Racing aero pieces.
