Blending In

Silver has long been the most popular, best-selling automotive hue. And it's easy to see why. Silver is not offensive in any way, nor will it attract a ton of attention. And most people, well, prefer to blend in rather than stand out. Regardless, we personally enjoy a good, clean Silverstone Metallic S2000 like this beauty that recently popped up at Bring a Trailer.

Scant Miles

This particular beauty has just 25k miles on the clock and looks no worse for wear. It also sports a factory hard top for inclement weather, not that it's ever seen any of that. At least, you wouldn't think so by looking at, inside, and underneath the car.

Well Documented

As is typical with these well-preserved, low-mile machines, this particular S2000 comes with a host of factory documentation, a car cover, clean CarFax, and a clean title. Unfortunately, somebody tried to break into the car years ago, which necessitated a new soft top.

Few Defects

Otherwise, defects are hard to come by. There is a paint chip on the rear deck, along with a small ding on the hardtop and a paint bubble in the rear bumper. And three of the four wheels have some curb rash on them. None of which is anything terribly major in our book.

Little Wear

The red and black two-tone interior is a nice compliment to the silver exterior and looks to be in great shape as well. There is a little wear on the driver's seat, which is typical. And hey, even the factory radio remains intact, which isn't something you see every day.

Lots of Life

Obviously, this S2000 has been driven quite sparingly over the years. The seller notes that they've accumulated just around 2,000 miles in the last two years alone. But on the bright side, that means the new owner is getting a car with plenty of life left in it.

Good Buy?

As such, the engine bay is in exceptional condition. Regular maintenance has been performed over the years, which is also no surprise. Overall, this Silverstone S2000 looks like a great buy for anyone looking to get into one of Honda's legendary roadsters.

Happy Ending

In the end, this particular S2000 sold for a reasonable sum of $24,000. Not the cheapest we've seen, but also far from the most expensive. Thus, we imagine that the buyer and seller should be quite satisfied. We certainly would be if we were on the receiving end of this car, which so happens to be painted in the world's most popular hue.
