Super Street & Toyo Tires Kick Off 2020 Calendar in Style

While we might think of calendars as things of the past, there's no denying the enthusiasm behind Super Street and Toyo Tires annual calendar launch event that takes place in SoCal each and every year. This year's meet attracted a record crowd and number of participants, in fact, and quite a few stellar Hondas, as we noticed in Super Street's coverage of the event.

Nice Mix

That last part probably shouldn't come as a major surprise, as the Toyo Tires x Super Street meet takes place each year at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The event is also free and open to all makes and models, which means that you'll find a nice mix of builds representing the entire spectrum of our beloved hobby.

Real Reason

Of course, the point of this meet is to promote a calendar. So attendees were able to pick up their own copy and get them autographed by the Toyo girls at the tire maker's booth. Meanwhile, in front of the booth, you were also able to enjoy a hand-selected lineup of Toyo's finest display cars.

Massive Growth

Super Street and Toyo Tires have been teaming up to put on this event since 2015 but found themselves searching for a new, larger venue just three years later. And it just continues to grow, with an estimated 3,000 rides rolling in for this year's calendar meet.

Featured Rides

That includes a bunch of Toyo's featured rides, seven of which were also on display at the tire company's 2019 SEMA booth. All of which represented something either rare, eclectic, over-built, or pretty much all of the above.

Eye Candy

For Honda fans, this event was filled with plenty of eye candy as well. That includes a host of amazing S2000 builds, but also cars like an ultra-clean K-swapped Civic, a handful of NSXs (both first and current-gen), and of course, a slew of FK9 Civic Type Rs.

Great Honor

The way things have been going for the last five years, the Toyo Tires x Super Street calendar meet doesn't figure to stop growing, either. After all, who doesn't want to see their ride grace the pages of something that hangs on so many people's walls, even if only for a singular month?
