Rare Sight

It's not uncommon to see packs of Honda S2000s roaming the streets of America and Japan. But one place you wouldn't expect to see a modified, turbocharged AP1 is Pakistan. In fact, according to Pakistani car site Pakwheels, there are only three or four of them in the entire country right now. This particular car is one of the few, and its owner recently gave us a nice summary of his experience with it thus far in this video.

Exterior Mods

Despite the fact that the S2000 isn't a common sight in Pakistan, the owner of this car is obviously an enthusiast. He's done a ton of work to the car since purchasing it, which starts on the outside. Mods there include a set of white wheels, LED taillights, an APR Performance carbon fiber rear wing, and carbon fiber side skirts, rear diffuser, and front lip.

Turn and Stop

A set of D2 coilovers lowers the car and upgrades the handling at the same time, hunkering it down over those new wheels. The owner has also installed a set of upgraded rear strut bars. Brakes are currently stock, however, which is probably an area he should address given the added power this car currently possesses.

Power Maker

The bulk of that power comes from a Sheepy Built turbo kit combined with an AEM V2 standalone EMS. Together with a water-methanol kit, this engine should produce a healthy amount of power, though the owner hasn't had it on a dyno yet. Rounding out this tasty combo is a GReddy exhaust and a boost controller so the owner can dial things back when he's not in a hurry.

Interior Mods

The interior of this S2000 has received a host of modifications as well, including a bunch of added gauges stuck to the dash, including water temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, and boost. There's also a flat-bottom VGS steering wheel, and a bunch of red accents to break up the sea of black.

Universal Appeal

Whether you love or hate the modifications this S2000's owner has made to his ride, you have to give him credit for owning such a car in Pakistan, to begin with. After all, he admits that it cost a fortune just to import it, let alone modify it. And to us, it's pretty cool to see that the S2000's appeal stretches to places you might not ever expect to see it.
