Multipurpose Tool

As most of us are already well aware, the Honda S2000 is a handy vehicle that's also capable of doing a lot of things well - whether that be turn in solid lap times, provide a fun wind-in-the-hair cruising experience, or even giving us a reliable daily driver. But as it turns out, the S2000 is also apparently good at something most owners will never use it for - towing a jet ski, as we c an see in this video from TikTok user S2kordie

Taking the Plunge

Obviously, the S2000 was never designed to tow anything, and you won't find any mention of such activities or capabilities in its owner's manual. Regardless, the owner of this particular roadster took the risk and discovered that it can, in fact, at least tow something relatively light like a jet ski.

Impressive Feat

In the short video, we can see the Honda pulling the jet ski out of the water on a boat ramp, moving along without stressing its suspension components out, it appears. With the average jet ski tipping the scales at around 700 pounds - plus the rider in this case - that's a pretty impressive feat.

Easy Way Out

The driver of the S2000 puts a lot of truck owners to shame as well, just reaching the water's edge before moving on. We've seen our fair share of boat ramp fails over the years, so things could have obviously gone much worse in this case. But we suppose that the driver at least has an easy way out if his car was to sink.

Don't Try This at Home

Obviously, we wouldn't recommend trying to do such a thing at home, but it is pretty cool to see that the S2000 is capable of such activities. In many parts of the world, cars are routinely used to tow things, but in the U.S., trucks typically serve that purpose. As such, this is a strange sight for most, but perhaps not quite as shocking for others.
