Wild Widebody S2000 Packs Incredible Attention to Detail

If you're deep into the S2000 world, which we know you are, you're probably already aware of this incredible build from Reyes Jesus, better known as Reyes S2k on Instagram. But if you aren't familiar with the car, you certainly should be, which is why we're featuring it here.

Show Pony

Reyes turned his car into a show pony some time ago and hasn't even driven it on public roads since 2018, in fact. But given the attention to detail this build presents, we certainly can't blame him. Everything from the body to the interior to the highly polished engine bay is quite simply a work of art.

Polished Centerpiece

Over the last couple of years, this S2000 has certainly undergone its fair share of changes, however. That includes a completely new engine setup, with a highly detailed Voltex huffer as the centerpiece. According to Reyes, the current combo is good for around 450 horsepower, thought he obviously hasn't put it to much use yet.

Just Starting Out

Just five years ago, this particular car was completely stock. Now, it's one of the most insanely detailed things we've ever laid eyes on. In between, the build started rather humbly, with the first additions being lowering springs, a front lip, side skirts, and Megan Racing seats. Pretty similar to how most of us started out in the S2000 world.

Color Changing

The chopped up, widebody look of this car is certainly unique, and we can't think of a better color to accentuate those lines. The paint looks gold and even a little orange, depending on how the light hits it. And that only adds to the car's stunning visual appearance.

Countless Hours

Reyes admits that countless hours over the course of two years went into transforming this car's appearance into its current state. He calls the number of hours that went into the engine bay alone "insane." And believe it or not, he also says that the car isn't finished yet, not by a long shot.
