Default *RARE* Remus Exhaust

Remus Exhaust System for any year S2000
Asking price: $450 picked up or $500 shipped Prices are Negotiable
-The exhaust would retail from Remus for $1250 for all 3 parts + hardware.

Reason for sale is because I decided to get an Invidia V4 for a change in exhaust note
I loved every second of this exhaust, redlining under overpasses always sounds brilliant

For sale is a very rare 3 piece exhaust from the Italian exhaust company, Remus.

Im the only one that I know of that has this exhaust in the U.S. and I think I know of only one other person that has this exhaust, period.

This exhaust is now discontinued from Remus, as you can see here

A little background on this system:
-I bought this exhaust used about a year ago, without clamps to put the 3 pieces together. I found clamps that worked, and will be including them with the exhaust.

This exhaust is for you IF..
-You are wanting an exhaust that gives a better look than the stock exhaust
-You are wanting a little deeper tone, while retaining the stock-like volume
-You do NOT like drone

This exhaust is NOT for you if..
-You want an exhaust thats much louder than stock
-You want a system significantly lighter than stock
-You want your S2000 to sound like a rice-bucket

Specs
-60mm Piping
-This exhaust weighs precisely 54.6lbs (i just weighed it) as I said earlier, its not a light exhaust.
-I did not dyno this exhaust, and do not know about power gains, if there is any, it will be insignifcant like most dual systems for the S2K
-Exhaust is coated with a black paint from Remus

Sound
-This exhaust is a VERY stock-like exhaust, design, and volume wise
-The tone is a much deeper tone, especially in the lower RPM range, which is quite noticable.
-This exhaust has ZERO drone on freeway cruising, you hardly can tell its even there.

Flaws
-This exhaust is from what i understand from the original owner, is about 3 years old. So you can tell its age, it could use some polishing up to really makes those gorgeous tips stand out
-Theres a small dent in the passenger side canister I believe, can not be seen when installed, and hardly noticable, I dont think it would make any difference in sound/performance, as its so small (if your sincerely worried about it, I can take a pic of it for you)
-The passenger side tip has a slight dent on the bottom of the tip, not noticable when installed, I didnt even know it was there until I took it off this morning.
-Clamps were 1/2 inch too small, but still worked decently, a $50 value, that I have NOT included in the price, I will give the clamps to you, and you can make them work, like I did, or find the size up from these to allow better fitment. The passenger side clamp did produce a very small, unnoticable exhaust leak, after inspection, after the uninstall. I never heard/noticed anything until I took it off and looked at it.
-DIRTY

Seller's Notes
In the video, the whistle sound is because of my 63mm Berk Test Pipe, as I have the same sound on my new, properly installed, Invidia V4 Exhaust

Any Questions feel free to ask

PICS
On car
Note, the hangers on my car are crooked, the ehxaust is fine, all 4 different exhausts ive had, have all hung crookedly

You can see small dent in Passenger side tip here

Driver side tip

Full System uninstalled (Shiny Invidia exhaust no included )

This is the box that it will be shipped in:

Video/Sound clip
Remember the whistle sound is a common thing with test pipes, if you dont have a test pipe, you will not have the whistle, I had this exhaust with and without a testpipe, and the whistle was only produced after the test pipe install.
This video should give you a good idea of what it will be like driving everyday life, gives some regular shifts, around town cruising, some VTEC shifts, and highway cruising, as well as an overpass WOT pass

Driving Video

Again, any questions, please dont hesitate to ask, this is a very, adult sounding, good looking, one of a kind exhaust, and I loved having it!

Thanks,
Chase

i love the sound. i can't make up my mind between having something louder than everyone or a deep rumble like the one you have.
