ok well all my bushings are worn and the bolts are siezed. I have air tools, and an assortment of sockets, ect. But do I need any speciality tools. I just don't want to get half way and then have to go and get extra things. Also, for the siezed bolts would you guys recommend torching the bolt to break it? any advice would be great!

Make sure and get new hardware if you haven't already.

If this is front arms then you might need to lower the subframe to access the upper nut of the caster adjuster.

The front bushing of the rear control arm nut if I remember correctly is welded on the subframe.

so how would you lower the subframe for the lower front a arms?

if anyone has a diy of some sort I would appreciate it greatly. I've looked everywhere but cant seem to find much on the subject.

The Honda Manual explains how to do it.

For the front lower control arms you DO NOT lower the subframe at all.. IF you are refuring to the back bolt on the front lower control arm.. What you do it loosen the bolt and take it out. Leaving the nut that is on the top in place.. Then there is a sleeve that is in the bushing that has the adjustment on it.. you have to pull that sleve out to remove the lower control arm..

FYI it is a huge pain in the A$$.. Mine were siezed to the bushings and we had to weld a customer tool. which was a pair of vice grips and a dent puller to the sleeve and use the dent puller to get it out..

I've heard you can just torch the bolt and it loosen it up from being siezed, or just cut the bolts. I have all new a arms so I'm not trying to salvage the old ones. is there anyway someone could fax or send me the PDF of the a arm removal from the helms manual.

ok I started working on it today, the compliance sleeve bolt is not coming out of the bushing, so I'm guessing I will have to cut that out. But with what kind of blade I don't know. And for the bushing attached to the wheel hub how do you pop that off. and iff you pop that off how do you pop it back in. This is wayyy more work than I thought it would be. I just want to get this one side done so I can put everything back together and take somewhere to get done.
