april 17th 2013

So even if my wheels were matte black last season i never been a big fan of matte/satin color so didnt took me long before sending the Gramlights to the body shop...

Been considering stripping my car down for a long time now and last night i finally pulled the trigger, i am not done still need to get some dry ice to remove the last sticky layer of sound deadening but here some photos of my progress

the carpet in question wasnt that heavy but all the insolation/sound deadening stuff was surprisingly heavy, i dont have a scale but will probably get one just for this haha

So now my trunk is gutted, carpet/sound deadening remove in the front ,next step for weight reduction would be soft top delete and gutted hardtop but cannot afford this at the moment... defnitely in a near future tho...

I should have a small up tomorrow since im getting my tires mounted.

This car is nuts, definitely not what I'd do, but I'm looking forward to seeing it completed!

How do you like that Bride seat? Is it hard to get in and out of? I'm looking at getting one for my car but the high side bolsters worry me a little.

What did you use to cut the rear bumper?

Can't wait to see more progress. Love how the rear bumper turned out.
