Nice! Im sure there are some folks out here that would appreciate your services. I very well may in the future. The front bumper covers take a real beating out here. $200 to have it looking new again sounds like a pretty good deal. If you develop a good rep for yourself, I’m sure you won’t be at any shortage of side work in the long term, if that’s what you want.

Considering I paid well over 200 to paint my front bumper just to get rock chips on it the next week on the Baker run earlier this year, I would say this may be quite the investment. Definitely interested in this in the next couple months.

Just curious, but which shop do you work at? Seems like a good deal, especially $350 to paint the hardtop. The previous owner of my car spent ~$1,000 on having it painted from red to Silverstone to match the car, but also had the rear window removed and got new seals put on as he was really picky. Not sure if it's really necessary to remove the rear window to have the hardtop painted though.

can you provide a little more general information?
1. Where would the work potentially take place? your shop or my garage/driveway?
2. Whats the typical turn time on something like a bumper, HT, or lip? These are going to be the most common items. lets assume none of these are a scuff & shoot and all are the original parts on car. (lots of assumptions...sorry)
3. Do you remove trim, windows etc or do you just mask and shoot? (more geared towards HT's)
4. how many coats of base & clear do you lay down? presuming the car is not a "1 stage"
in hind sight some of these are not so "general" but things that are important to me when picking a bodywork-man

[attachment=67600:1912147_658242830920093_150539117 1387289267_o.jpg]Most of the prepping would be at my house and paint will be in the shop i work at. Turn out times depends on how busy i am in shop remember these are side jobs ill let u know before u bring the parts. Yes i remove the seals trim even windows if u willing to pay and have it remove from your oem hardtop BUT most of the time i use a lifting tape that allows me to paint an oem hardtop without removing the glass and i dont use single stage paint IM NOT MACCO lol.. I use glasurit, ppg or sikkens WATERBORNE paint for matching parts and omni base and limco lc4500 clear for complete paint jobs or i could use some of the above brands if u decide to but youll pay the difference
I work in a collision shop in north seattle area. We use glasurit 90 line waterborne paint only. Serious people are welcome to come and check out my work at the shop i work at but i will not post the name of the shop since i do not want people calling asking for me to do side jobs then what was the point of going thru me to paint your parts.
some of my work history
mcleods auto rebuild
precision collision lynwood
callahans auto rebuild seattle
Thoroughbred collision in mulkiteo
Any more ?s please text me 206 380 7889

Pretty good deal. I paid $400 for my front bumper and lip to be resprayed and they did a good job. Judging from the pics UJDAp2 product quality looks nice and he'll do some prep work. Most places won't even do prep work. Minor sanding at most, lol.
