Hello S2KI, just curious about Honda OEM parts. We just purchased a few things from Honda. We purchased a OEM AP2 lip, OEM AP2 CR lip which both came painted BB, and also a non-painted CR front bumper that has the holes predrilled for the CR lip. What I am really confused about is every other item that we purchased from Honda has a stamp in the plastic that says Honda? But this front bumper has no such stamp just a sticker that says R(H)DOT and a paper attached inside that says that this label must stay attached? Is this a new practice or was I just lucky when we purchased our AP1 front bumper that it was stamped Honda?

that's how my Honda OEM replacement rear bumper for my previous car came. I never questioned it because it came from Honda. This was around 2005-2006 when I bought it.

I believe R is replacement and DOT is Department of Transportation.

You are fine with this replacement.

Odd. The CR usually comes grey with the holes pre drilled.

Are you still willing to trade hardtops before paint?

Great now she will be worried about that joking, I am the one always worried lol. As for the Hardtop she is still on the fence about painting everything Suzuka Blue. I guess before she drops it all off to get painted ill know more. Paint should be happening around OCT. 2015 do not want anymore down time this year tired of all this sno..... wait I will not even think it! So if she does decide to paint it all Blue and now that I have your screen name lol. we will contact you first to swap hardtops so at least one of us does not need to paint it lol. PS adding you as a friend, plus make sure you send me all events in your area we will try and make some of them.

Lol! Nothing to worry about. As stated above the R[H]DOT sticker is replacement and DOT certified genuine honda part. It's there to take place of the original VIN sticker that's placed.

Personally I think all Suzuka would look great, because the CR never came Suzuka. As for the hardtop trade I would greatly appreciate if, of course, but if not then that's perfectly fine!

I will try me best at keeping up with events myself and will pass the word.
