Default Small, narrow daily driver recommendations

I've just moved offices and my designated parking bay is the middle one of three. Would not be an issue, other than the fact the bay to the left and right, both have columns on one side, which means my neighbours will no doubt squeeze up as close to my car as possible. And they drive 4x4s. And I've seen them park.

Thinking of replacing this d/d with something narrower, that won't matter if it gets the odd ding. A small beater would make sense, and keep the S for weekend use, though I don't have a garage at home.

I've seen threads recommending the c1, aygo, iQ, fiesta etc, but what's the definitive view on a narrow-bodied, fun-filled, inexpensive, replacement that will give pleasure on a 15 mile A & B road commute (and I'm talking car here).

TIA.

Why don't you just install a camera in the s2k? Since it's the same two cars parking either side of you every day, if you do get a ding then you'll know who's to blame and just get them to repair it.

Get a 4x4 too and make sure you're in the office before them

I got a panda for similar reasons but I don't drive to London as often now so will be selling it.

05 1.2 panda. Fun to drive as in keeping it rolling and dirt cheap to boot.

I borrow SWMBOs Panda 1.2 as much as possible - it's a great hoot to barrel everywhere flat out and still get 45mpg+

60plate (January 2010), 1 owner, , 47k miles, and came with 4 new tyres, 2 new rear shocks, 2 new front discs and pads and new back box - for £3900 last November

I think the dealer got shafted on a p/x

That's good to hear. The more I think about letting the S go, the more I convince myself not to. Just had the bike/scooter conversation with SWMBO. A flat no.
