Went to my local pub, where they usually play recorded F1 races. They screwed up and didn't record it. Dammit!!! Apparently, I missed a good race.

Only got to see the last few laps. 6am on a Sunday is an ungodly hour to wake up.

^aren't you in Ontario, I thought it was a 5am start in BC. I just set the PVR and watched it delayed when I woke up!

It's 2015, don't you guys have some ways to record the race? I'm not waking up at 5am, I record them all and watch later in the day.

Well I can't even watch the race in real-time because we only have basic basic cable. I have to go about watching the races by using other means.

Like one option is using a VPN and then watching live on the BBC website.. but I can't stand BBC.

^ F1 is due to make its feed available online much like other racing series. The day they start offering a webcast, I am going to cut cable.

Well BBC is an option, if you like/can handle their poor commentary. I haven't used it since last season, but it was free as long as you had a VPN so that you could set your location in the UK.

I don't know of any other "legal" means. I don't think Sky has a web option without paying for their service. I'd rather be able to only pay for streaming F1 races/practices and be able to watch VODs so that I can watch sessions later in the day. Is that too much to ask for?
