So I managed to totally dis-assemble the heater controls

Just filed the locating tabs off of the clear bit and pushed it out

How did you get these bits out? Did you have to unsolder the circuit? What about the control knobs?

I looked at taking them apart a few months ago but didn't want to break it.

One can be pushed out. The other requires the circuit board to be removed.

the clear bits both pop out...one if far easier than the other, can't remember which one was harder but its the one with the small locating tabs visable on the back. be brave and give 'em hell and they should just pop out.

Mr Mink isn't quite right; you can remove the PCBs by dropping a 10mm socket down into the hole left by the knob and just undoing the lock nut

I'm just waitnig for a reply from Wicked Coatings with a quote for all the bits I've stripped down. Marmite choice for sure but I'll post some photos once done and prepare for some abuse
