smoothing front bumper
Dropped my car off for front end respray this morning - paint had flaked off the splitter which wasn't attached very well on one corner either. Have asked them to remove the front number plate holder and smooth the front end off as well as a couple of other areas to refresh.
Whats your recommendations for number plate replacement/positioning? Considering either a vinyl only reduced size plate (private plate with 5 characters no gap in the middle) or a standard plate on bracket elsewhere?

Lees recommendation FTW
I went for the same thing but with the original Johnsons Honda UK legal plate (shaved about 2cm on the left and right edges to make it a bit narrower.)

Ditto as above, but only because my bumper was not smoothed and then the bodyshop decided to screw two new holes into the bumper! FFS.
I was always worried about blocking the rad by going lower down. So was thinking about a alpha style side mounted plate? Or one that folds away....

Yeah, I actually left my inner screw holes on purpose - I don't really like the super-smoothed novelty dildo look where you get rid of the Honda badge, number plate + washers so I'm always going to have a plate somewhere around there.

Just nicked the plate surround of the front of the VW Polo today and finishes it a treat and fills the exposed gap around the sharp edged number plate
Have the standard plate size & with OEM surround <Brick> removed.
Few on Egay also even with Honda logos similar to mine <VW> 191793650606

cheers for responses so far, would be interested to see one with a sticky plate though - consider either offset on one side rather than in the middle? It may go in the gap below the passenger washers and the 'vent'
Im keeping the Honda badge and colour coding the headlamp washers, its literally just the holes for the oem plate bracket that are being filled.
I do like Lee's as well, but all the pics are of facelift bumpers, any of pre facelift ones?
