Default Recommendations In Charlotte NC area for Soft Top Replacement

I have a 2005 S2000 and it has a hole probably at the most common site, jut behind the passenger seat.

Does anyone have any experience with the shops in the Charlotte area and if so, are you willing to share your positive experiences and if you have the, any recommendations in the Charlotte would be welcome.

Are you just trying to patch or get a whole new top? Permatex was a life saver.

I have heard that there is not a good way to patch things, but if there is I am interested. The tear is in the typical place where welds from the frame have worn through. I tried to get Honda to replace it a few years ago without success. I think a patch would be needed. Otherwise probably the only solution will be to replace with a repair of the spots on the frame that have caused the problem. The top is in pretty good shape otherwise.

Thanks

Thanks, I clicked on the link provided by "mic" and got a message that the website wouldn't let me go there.

Got any ideas about other routes to contact him since I don't seem to be able to through this website.

Many thanks.

Buy these two items and follow the detailed pdf instructions.
Buy extra rivits and wire(coat hanger)to help you fish two window wires. It's not a hard job and you can go at your own pace. (You also need a drill w/bits, a rubber mallet and a few basic tools to remove some interior)
Soft top with detailed instructions:

Rivit tool: (Good to own for future projects)

Google: (s2ki soft top replacement) for other references.

Pm me if you have any questions.

You will need a friend to help you close it the first time. Keep it closed for a few days and the top should stretch out.
