Wheel carrier idea.. need your opinion.
Hi.
I have 4 AP1 OEM rear wheels wrapped with BFG R1 245 45 16. My plan was to change tire from home, ride to track and back home after the event. However, little I knew at that time, its UTQG is 40... Meaning, most likely, it will disintegrate as soon as I arrive at track. My friends has been gracious to carry these for me and I'm most thankful for that. However, I also feel sorry for the work my friends I put up to... So I've been looking at solutions such as tire tail, hitch, removing passenger seat, & ETC... Unfortunately, I don't have room to put a trailer in my garage nor parking spot...
After researching on few, I came up with an idea to put hitch and cargo carrier. However, I'm not sure if this set up will be strong enough to hold 4 wheels as well as not damaging my s2000.
Can you give me your opinion?
following is the hitch.

then following Cargo carrier will be attached.

Some of those Bars on the bottom can be removed so that wheels can be seat on upper walls of cargo carrier. It also brings the question, will tires rub against bumper or trunk?..
Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't put a "cargo carrier" on the back of my Expedition and would not even consider it on the S2000. A very lightweight trailer like this will handle the chore. (Don't need it that big for a couple of tires.)
It puts a horizontal (pull) strain on the car, now a lever pumping up and down behind your rear bumber trying to twist itself off the frame.
Lightweight expanded metal for the bed will handle your tires easily.
You'll need a frame mounted trailer hitch..
and one behind a FRS (BRZ):

Hire jfo to haul your sh!t.
Paul, just run some good street tires and be done with it. Hankook RS3s, Bridgestone RE71s .........
I know stowing a trailer might be an issue for you.

Depends on your state. Lightweight trailers don't need tags in (how many?) states.
I know trailers in Wisconsin under 3,000 pounds gross (loaded) weight don't need registration or tags but trailers of ANY weight require registration/tags in Ohio. Wisconsin DMV recommends registration, though, for those who routinely travel out of state probably to avoid having to explain Wisconsin registration and reciprocity to rookie highway patrol policemen.

^bro not everyone is like you LOL
Id rather bring a tire and save the life of the hoosier, even an RR lol.
You can go to harbor freight and buy the trailer. I know tons of racers that do!
