The best price to check actual sale prices is ebay sold auctions. A 2006 with 20k miles and 1 owner just sold for $18,500. That gives you the best gauge of pricing. Yours has 30k more miles so It'd prolly go for the $16k range.

And a buddy of mine picked up a mint 06 with 15k miles and an oem hardtop last year for 18k. Doesn't mean the op's car is worth 16k, it means my buddy and the guy who bought one one on ebay got great deals. If you look at nada and kbb values they both have an 06 with 50k miles in the 19-20k range, but if you want to get anything sold quickly, you have to price it below the market.

Here's a revelation for ya! If anything sells quickly it's under-priced. If it doesn't sell in weeks (or months) it's over-priced. The buyer ultimately determines the price. By definition since it ain't selling this car is technically over-priced. If this car is only advertised here all bets are off. I doubt there are college girls trolling this site looking for cars (they bought some of the cars was looking at two years ago).
Offset this with supply and demand. Supply is pretty easy to determine; demand is more practical and can be seasonal and, perhaps, emotional. There are few 2-seat cars manufactured for the simple reason no one wants them and those that do probably already have one. Low supply and low demand cancel out. Buyers of S2000 cars are guys like us picking up what's left or available. To me these are secondary cars at best due to climate. That lowers demand. I could drive a BRZ all year for not much more money than a used S2000 which I can really only drive in the summer. (Yeah I know many of you drive all year even where it snows.)
Supply here in Ohio is minuscule. Heck, it's been weeks since I've seem an S2000 on the road in Cleveland other than my reflection in store windows. (And I look great!) I noted earlier the price on this car matches my limited experience here. In more temperate climates where there dozens of cars to choose from it may seem over-priced.
