Tire recommendations?
Hi everyone, just wondering what tires you guys are putting on your AP2's these days. I'm running out of life on my Dunlop Direzza's and I love em but they are not available anymore.
I don't need any sort of wet or snow traction, just dry conditions only. Again, I love my Dunlops for both the ride and handling, so anything like these would be great.
Hope everyone is doing well. Cheers!

My 2006 car came with Dunlap Star Specs on horrible black Enkei FP01 wheels. The tires slapped at every expansion joint on the road and the handling didn't impress me. I sold the tires on the wheels as soon as I bought correct AP2V2 wheels and wonderful, but alas now discontinued, Bridgestone RE-11A tires.
Now I'm up for a new set. Still got decent (legal) tread (deeper than 3/32"). With the RE-11A tires gone and the Dunlops never going on this car ever again I may need to "drop down" from Extreme performance to Max performance. The RE-11A tires were overkill but that always works. The replacement RE-71R tires are very loud on the road and I don't want that either. So right now, this weekend, the top tire for me is the Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position. But this will be a "game time decision" and I may hit the RE-71R button when the time comes.
Weekend and summer car. I need rain performance or certainly safety for those unexpected squalls that seem to blow thru.
