Default MotorTrend Best Driver's Car 2016

Randy Pobst runs the NSX at Laguna
https://youtu.be/dwD-WeY6Ivs

Slower than the R8v10 by over 2 seconds and slower the mustang 350R by tenths of a second. The NSX as optioned was 200k.

Thoughts?

Not surprised by those results at all besides the Camaro. It's track times, continue to impress me.

If it ever happens, will the S2000 replacement be a better value than that SS 1LE (besides the fact that it's a Chevy, will drop in value like a rock, and potentially have questionable reliability)?

Agree Red. Such a capable car. Best value in the pack. 10s of thousands cheaper than 2nd least expensive car there

If Hondas idea of a s2000 replacement is the same as their idea of the nsx replacement...what then?

I
This. Honda is trying to compete in the Hybrid hyper/supercar game others are. They need to stick to their roots. I drove a SS a week ago. Very nice car. Interior isn't what you would expect from GM. GM reliability is questionable but there are two things they do right, v8's and the transmissions attached to them.
