Default Selling my snowboard

Hi everyone,

So I've decided to sell my beloved Snowboard. I saved up a bunch of cash to get and I've only used it 3 times at Sunday River in 2 years... so sad... Anyway it needs to go, as it just sits around my house collecting dust.

Its a rare 2003-2004 Burton Canyon 156 (ID#137300686). This board was very hard to get even when it first came out. The art work on this board was done by Alex Gray, which is the same artist that does a lot of art work for the band 'TOOL'. I spent 2 months trying to get it, and then I sadly only used it 3 times... A little info on the board itself. This board is wider than most and is Great for people with larger feet... like me The board itself is in Excellent shape. It has 2 little scratches on the top, but there so small I couldn't get the lighting right to show them on the computer... but they are there as you can feel them...
It has couple of small scratches on the bottom but there nothing really, you'll get more scratches putting it on a ski rack than whats on it now. The board also has a nice stomp pad with metal studs.

It comes with Solomon SP4 bindings. They're so nice!! I love them. They're shaped to help you handle and control the board better. They are padded on the front straps, the back, the toe... pretty much everywhere. They are mounted Regular on the board but that can be changed. I have all the extra mounting hardware, stickers, cheapo stomp pad, and strap. Everything except the box.

and to go into those bindings are my Nitro Tyrant boots size 11 very form fitting and very comfortable to wear..., I can say that because I tried on about 20 pairs of different boots. These fit so nice.

Anyway I took a few pictures, but I'll take more but the battery went died in the camera, so I'll have to do it later, but I have these for now:

Anyway I wanted to offer this to the club first to see if anyone has any interest. I paid about $700 for this setup, so if I could get about $500-550 I'd be happy...kinda...

If you have any questions LMK
-John

WOW. I love Alex Gray's work. I'm a huge Tool fan, too. Great looking board! Too bad I have no idea how to snow board.

A quick side note, looking at the bottom of the board where it says Burton... if you flip the board over it spells out Canyon

Nice board. If it was a bit smaller I would consider but then again I already have 2 boards and only go out 2~3 times a year

Haha, that would work out well. BUT, I just scheduled a ski trip to CO with a few buds and that entire trip (everything!) is working out for less than $450! So I can't very well justify a $500 board! Not to mention that I don't really like skiing/snowboarding, etc.

Still, I can appreciate a beautiful piece of equipment. Good luck with the sale. If I was rich and extravagant I'd hang it on my wall!
