Single Exhaust on AP2
I'm sure there are MANY AP2 owners out there considering whether to install a single on AP2 due to its rear bumper look. I'm leaning towards getting an exhaust but I will 100% want a single over dual due to its lightness (and also to me it looks more sportier) and much more gains. I've seen pics of AP2 with single exhaust recently but I just feel it's awkward to look at. Anyways, I remember a long time ago seeing people wanting someone to custom make something to fill the other gap so it won't look like it's missing something. Has anyone managed to come up with something to fill in the hole? or it just ended without any solution. Is it that difficult to make one?

Yeah ive been thinking heavily about this also and I come to the conclusion to just swap to an AP1 rear bumper, looks better anyway
You would have to redesign the AP2 bumper in order to make things flow.

a custom ap2 rear could be done but it would take some chopping of the driver side rear bumper cut out and plastic welding and molding in a section on the driverside to fill the gap after the cut.

I love the AP2 bumper and the symmetry of duals. I swapped a local dude (straight trade) his AP2 for my old AP1. I love it.
Going AP2 -> AP1 may require removal or cutting of two lower brackets that hold the lower valence beneath the license plate. Not a big deal, they're just too long on the AP2 and will get in the way of the AP1.

ahh i was in your situation when i got my apexi n1 single.
i ended up locating an ap1 rear bumper i like the look better.
and yeah there are two brackets that are longer than the ap1 bumper. i left them unmodified. though the rear bumper does flex when you force it....

they are but honestly... looks like part of the chassis as in it blends in alright. haha
i think ive seen someone custom mold the hole on an ap2 bumper. definitely looked nice.
however...... pay $$ to fix ap2..... gain money by trading ap1.... haha
