Since I've got two months off from school and my job is pretty lax, Tom and I have decided to take on a summer project. We've had this RX7 for about year, picking it up with a clear title for 300! While the body is a little on the rough side, we're gonna have some fun with it! I've got a set of Corvette heads for the 350 (Specs to come soon) and supposedly a 350 bottom end with a 4 bolt main. Turbo 350 transmission is the idea. Stay tuned for a low budget, high ambition project!

There is a guy here in Columbia MO with a sweet little RX7 that he swapped an LS1 into. Thing is wicked fast in a straight line! Good luck with the swap.

A guy I know in Houston, Brent Villeral, has an RB25 swapped FD. He's currently building an LS6 FD. I think it will be fun. I'm not a fan of body work. I wish we had an actual LS1. I may be able to pick up a 400 crank. You can pickup a 383 stroker kit (crank, rods, and pistons) for 500! It will be an experience either way! I'm looking forward to learning something new!

Well after spending a little time checking the car out, we've come to the conclusion to trash the car. The body isn't worth putting the money into. Instead, we'll be pulling an SR20DET out of an s13 this next week for a rebuild. The S13 the SR is coming out of was an SE equipped with heads up display. It too suffers from 'horrible body syndrome' :D It would have been fun, but thats ok well find something else worth building!
