Angeles Crest Cruise, Sunday May 15th
Time for our yearly Angeles Crest Cruise! This is the best cruise of the year, don't miss it!
The plan is to meet up at Vons in Tujunga at 11:45a.m. The address is:
7789 Foothill Blvd
Tujunga, CA 91042
We'll leave the lot at 12:30p.m.
Here is the route we will take. The front half of Angeles Crest is closed, so we're taking Big Tujunga to Upper Big Tujunga and then to Angeles Crest. We took this route last year and it was beautiful with basically no traffic
After we finish up on Angeles Crest, we're going to go to Fuddruckers at the Ontario Mills Mall for a late lunch/early dinner. The address for Fuddruckers is:
4423 E Mills Cir
Ontario, CA 91764
We had over 60 cars at GMR last month, and I'm hoping to beat that for Angeles Crest. See you all on the 15th!

Is this an S2000 only event, or are other cars welcome?
Oh, by the way as of a few days ago Angeles Crest is closed right before the San Gabriel Rd. Perhaps by May they will open it up through Wrightwood.

hey guys im new to this sight and never been to any function, can i play?

Sean organizes meets and cruises through his forum Motorgen, It's a great group of people and a great mix of cars. There are usually between 50-60 cars, 5-7 S2ks, 4-5 GTOs, M3s, Cadillacs, subis, evos, chargers, challengers, corvettes, they even get a Ferarri from time to time. Everyone is welcome.

there are currently two closures in regards to Angeles Crest
[IN THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AREA]
IS CLOSED FROM 2 MI EAST OF THE EAST JCT OF I 210 TO 8 MI EAST OF
LA CANADA (LOS ANGELES CO) - DUE TO STORM DAMAGE REPAIR - MOTORISTS ARE
ADVISED TO USE AN ALTERNATE ROUTE
This is the main road up the front that has been closed for some time now, we will take another route around the back to avoid this.
IS CLOSED FROM ISLIP SADDLE TO 5 MI WEST OF BIG PINES (LOS ANGELES CO)
- FOR THE WINTER - MOTORISTS ARE ADVISED TO USE AN ALTERNATE ROUTE
This is the section of road furthest east close to Mt. High, not sure how they plan to deal with this, maybe just turn around and end back where we started.
Neither of these will be a negative impact on the cruise I'm sure.
