Anyone know what the widest wheels and lowest offsets can be without a fender flare or roll? Looking at both 17's and 18's.

My car is on coilovers -40mm or -1.6 inches.

Lowered that much you're not going to be able to have very low offsets without fender modification. Just as a reference, on my S I am running spacers in the rear that are 15mm and don't require any modification with about a 1" drop. A friend of mine is lowered about 1.5" with the same OEM wheels and tried to put the same spacers and he rubbed bad, and that's with a +50 offset. So my guess is that they would have to be around a +55 or higher to not rub without modification and negative camber.

You can find nice wheels in s2k friendly offsets like that but are harder to come by, most of the nice aftermarket wheels are going to require that you roll your fenders though.

Ok thanks for the info. I have my camber set to -1.5 at the moment on all 4 corners. So basically if I want a nice concave faced wheel I will need a fender roll and more camber dialled in even on 17's?

Most wheel's I've seen are 17x8 or 9 and +38 or +35...

Yeah pretty much all concave face wheels are going to have lower offsets and be pretty wide, and of course require you to roll the fenders. I know a lot of guys that run RPF1's that are 17x8 front and 17x9 rear with all +45 offsets had to roll their fenders to avoid rubbing even lowered an inch. So if you find any wheels that are around +50 or below you will need at least a roll, especially with your ride height.

Maybe I'll have to look into rolling and flaring the fenders as my friend has had this done to his and he's running 8J front and 9J rear +38 and +35 and it looks good!

my fender got shredded
in front im running 8 +47 with a 215/45 which is not aggresive at all, but my liner caught my pushed up tab and flipped it out. Best thing to do is fully roll, i wish i wouldve instead of just the tab.

Yeah gonna have to roll the fenders and relocate bumper tab etc and run some neg camber to fit some nice lower offset wheels. Worth it though.

17s or 18s you're not gonna be able to run anywhere near those offsets with -1.5 degrees of camber. For 17x9 +35 you're gonna need over -3 degrees of camber. And most 8'' wheels don't concave. Gl.

i have 17x8 and 17x9 +45 wheels myself. i have all 4 fenders trimmed and i still rub a little on my passenger rear. I SHOULDNt rub at all especially with -2.4 degress rear camber at all but i do, i dont know why. its only on one side. yeah i wouldnt touch the wheels unless you get a roll or trim.
