From searching i know this topic has been beat to death and mostly ends up in either hacking up your factory seat to hell or end up purchasing aftermarket buckets neither of which i want to do at all so....

Earlier this month when i picked up the latest issue of honda tuning and saw their project s2000 i skimmed through it and then found something interesting lowering the factory seat almost 2 full inches the whole seat not just the pan, the company that did it was asc-speed metal i have sent an email to them twice actually and it has fallen on deaf ears, i asked them to 1 sell me a kit for the drivers seat or 2 just let me know what sliders those are that will work as most mount differently and i'll make my own brackets i have no issue with that one response i got was email another account so i did and no response so i ask you all, can you make out what sliders these are? any help would be appreciated, well here are the pictures

i know i can't be the only one curious or ready to throw money at someone for these

if i can get a good id on the brackets i will make up what you would need to do this aside from the brackets and post up a DIY

There are like three current threads in the Interior section right now talking about the seat lowering rails that Bulletproof Automotive sells. Google is your friend.

They run about $350.00 by the way.

^The BYS rail only drops the seat around 20mm so it's hardly a drop. 2" would be awesome and they would sell them faster than they could make them.

if you would bother to read instead of just throwing out a generic response out of you being annoyed you will notice those are NOT backyard special rails at all, those are custom brackets on aftermarket sliders, i'm asking who makes the sliders, i know about the backyard special rails and i do not want them if you have nothing to contribute just don't reply and let the thread die like you think it should. So thank you for your non helpful reply that had nothing to do with the information i was asking for

Interesting. Even if we could ID the sliders making some tabs isnt difficult.

I'll make the tabs and provide measurements in a DIY no problem with doing that at all, just want a positive ID on the sliders and i'll purchase them and start on the project

I read that article too and was wondering the same exact thing....thats a nice drop in seat height. If contacting the magazine for info is unsuccessful, i "think" i remember reading somewhere that the editor is indeed a passionate NSX owner and is active on NSXPRIME. Id try and research this and see if you can get an answer from him directly...sorta skip the red tape. Good luck, i'll be watching
