Excalibur's GTX30 Build by Trackforged
Jeremy (Excalibur) came to us recently in search of more power. A little background, while his S2k was dropped off with us relatively stock he was no stranger to power and speed. Jeremy currently has a 1000cc bike and hes had several tuned cars in the past with over 400whp including an EVO X and an RX7.
Being a smart consumer he came to us with some power goals and intended use for the finished project.
He was looking for something capable of 450-500whp (but not at the sacrifice of response and lowend). He wanted to have a fast street car, that he could take out to AutoX, Trackdays, even the occasional 1/4. On top of that he wanted something reliable the he didn't need to tinker with every time he got in it.
It's first day on the lifts when he dropped it off.
First was to drop the pan, S2000's always have the cleanest engines
& then throw in a Trackforged Oil Pan Baffle
Stock clutch was ready to be replaced anyway and it probably wasn't a bad idea before doubling the whp Time for an ACT 6 puck
Don't need that factory header or intake anymore.
He made sure to wear the right shoes! Nitto NT01 255s
Hotness!
Then it became time to start throwing on some more serious performance mods.
1st on the list the Trackforged Turbo Kit
All in and tuned!
Dyno chart!
Pump fuel @ 16 psi.
Jeremy went to Portland International raceway last night 7-21 for his first Drag races with the kit installed
^ Left lane 12.1 @ 123! Good job Jeremy! No burnout and little experience with the car in boosted form. I have no doubt that with some practice and get down that 60' he will break into the 11s
