Agreed, additives play a (big) role.
Wouldn't you say that the residu of a 10W-30 and a 0W-30 is the same?
What I mean is how much oil is left between journals, in oil pasages, etc.
NOw if both a quality syn oils, the add pack would be of the same standard?
