    Hi Jim,
In a previous post I was asking for wheel advice - I ended up getting the 17x8+45 and 17x9+45, you advised 245/40R17 and 225/45R17 - what do you think is better for the rear? A 255/40 or 245/40? I'm pretty happy with going for 225/45 on the front.

    Thanks for your help!

Hi Jim, relatively new S2000 (2006 AP2) owner in the Bay Area, CA. I won't be driving in cold since the weather in the area is mild. I would like to take the car to different warm and hotter places for weekend drives. The car has S-04's on stock AP2 wheels. The rear tires are almost bald, and the front tires have 10,000 miles less than the rear with tread left. I plan on daily driving the car, but I have no plans on tracking / autoX. I was thinking of replacing the rears with new S-04's but was considering changing them all around with the Pilot Super Sports. I don't know if tire noise really bothers me nor do I know what performance I want. It has rained a bit here this year, so I would like to make sure that the tires I get can handle the rain. Safety is a priority. Do you have any recommendations between the two or an alternate tire? I would have considered the R-11A but they are discontinued. Regarding cost, I'd like something similar. Thanks again for your help. -Billy

    Hi Jim,
About to order some Enkei PF01SS 17x9 +60 in Bright Silver. Site says "Available at supplier" just wondering how long it would take for shipping.

They are replacing the tire with a Firestone Firehawk. The tire in Europe actually is a Bridgestone. If you ordered the rears after 04/01 you would be eligible for a 70.00 mail in rebate. If I can help let me know.

Jim, I just ordered four RE760 tires in 255/40 R17 for the rear on my S2000. I would like to find out if you know why these are on closeout (reason I ordered 4). Do you expect the 215/40 R17 to go on closeout?
