VAG RX-8 WAS RED.... we were mostly in 5th-6th on the national highway,
doing over 220km/h. He was in my mirror until the exit.

I am only asking because every single time I have raced with my friends heavily modified RX8 (2nd and 3rd gears all the way up to half 4th gear) the S is 1-2 cars ahead but he keeps on insisting that if we race from 4th or 5th gears onwards he will comfortably be in front!!! I can't understand these guys Each time we race S is in front and he keeps on coming for more, plus if you pay a visit to their forum www.RX8.gr (topic agwnes) their favourite subject matter is how they outdid the S2K Strange indeed Mr Watson

I believe in their forum everybody is trying to prove that they are faster than everyone else! They should be more honest to each other and not just through words.

For example I had a drag with a 350Z if you look on my previous posts. I know that in papers its faster with small differences in figures etc. We did drag and at some point he was left behind. The driver told me he missed a gear change, which is pretty logical to me to do so. BUT we do mention this details and not go declaring that I have beat the 350Z!?

Next time, if I see a Ferrari Modena cruising with 100km and I pass him by with 120km, I will claim that I am faster than him and post it here!

Or the other way around. A Yugo Zatava overpassed me while I was doing 80km! My S is the slowest car ever

 

My point exactly Mr Energetic!! I am sick and tired of everyone wanting to be faster than my S, what is wrong with this car in Greece, is it the wannabe car of everyone , I bet you if we drove a Porsche we would get less harassment!!

 

Now that you mentioned Porsche! Especially Boxster S Owners must feel a bit annoyed with the fact that a Honda S2000 is overtaking them! Everytime they see us around they are trying to prove something for no reason. Even the simple Boxster owners are trying to do so.

 

Don't know about the S, the 2,7 lt is a tad slow. Beware however both the 3,2 and the 2,7 lt are very fast in high speeds (thanks to higher capacity and their 6 cylinder engine strong top end) so don;t be alarmed if they overtake you at 220+ km/h. Also a good driver with a manual 3.2 S Boxster would be a tough cookie, plus all Boxsters are beatifull cars to look and drive (let alone own!!!).

To be honest so far I have race two Boxster S and until 160km that we did he was left behind. I dont know if they were not trying to do so, but this is what happened.

Regarding looks boxster is the only Porsche that I dont like! Believe it or not! I prefer Z1, Z3, Z4, Elise, Elan (I loved that one and still do) and SLK's.

 

While at Escoba with the PIMP Community Organizer we have the great idea of maxing out our cars on Attiki. We jump in the cars and press the magic red button.... 10 minutes later with no regard for the police, our licenses, and speed limits we are doing over 250Kmh side by side (Npart watch out! - pictures posted soon).

Anyway, at some point I turn off for Kalybia while the blue S heads straight. I get to a red light on the left lane and as im waiting to go a blue and white xsara with POLICE advertized on every side of it pulls up beside me. While my tyres are melting into the tarmac, Thoughts of doom are coming over me... Im picturing my S parked outside a crumbling police station next to confescated pocket rockets and me in the corner of cell block number 5 at Alcatraz!

GREEN - I roll of the line smoothly... changing gears at 3000rpm and wistling something like "singing in the rain", But the Xsara is just rolling with me. Not an inch forward not an inch back... IVE HAD IT!

ALARMS - "ooouiiiiOOOOUUUU-ooouiiiiOOOOUUU" The syron goes off!
I look to my right and the police are opening there window (manualy by the way). I open mine and offer them an angelic inocent look waiting for them to pull me over.

"DOSE DOSE.... DOSTA OLA!!!!!!" they shout at me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I reply...
"MBA, Molis to eliogosa stin attiki.... edo den exo dromo!"

And they say...
"Edo den exi astinomia!"

RESPECT TO THAT WHITE & BLUE.... THEY RESPECT THE S!

 

Ftouuuuuuu! I wish I was there, but U guys call when I have my girlfrien on my laps and my promise to her that we will spend the night at home watching DVD agkalitsa!!!! So what was the max speed?? Did U go exactly side by side or did the 17" wheels gave FireFly a slight advantage? Where are the pictures reeeeeeeeee???
